This heat-resistant, vibration-control material minimizes microphonic influence regardless of weight load. Ideal as an interface between cones and component or shelf -- placing a grungebuster Dot on the flat side of a cone absorbs vibration and allows the cone to work more efficiently. Use as an interface between component shelves and rack, under mass-loading weight, wherever superior vibration control or decoupling is needed. 1/16" (1.6mm) thick.

(Dots grip firmly to smooth surfaces and to each other; optional pressure-sensitive adhesive applied to one side gives a more aggressive bond to virtually any solid material.)

What it is: Herbie's isolation materials are proprietary silicone-based vinyl elastomers with variable compliance and firmness qualities. The materials will absorb vibration with very little pressure applied, yet will handle a lot of weight. These compliant, non-vulcanized compounds are not dependent on a precise weight load to be most effective. They are equally effective under a wide range of weight and have little or no resonant "coloration." Invented and formulated solely for audio and video applications, these proprietary materials are unsurpassed in their ability to absorb microphonic vibrations and reduce audio distortion. Materials are smudge-free and residue-free, with excellent dielectric (insulating) properties.
