The Black Hole is a hybrid CD/DVD Mat with a mild pressure-sensitive adhesive. Although designed to be kept permanently on an individual disc, The Black Hole can be removed and reapplied perpetually from one disc to another.
The Black Hole primarily affects digital conversion and analog stages of playback by reducing micro-vibrations at the disc/clamp interface. These vibrations permeate throughout the player and cause distortion in capacitors, op-amps, and microprocessors. The Black Hole CD/DVD mat delivers amazing mid/upper detail resolution, powerful bass, great timbre. Reveals subtle nuance and details, some of which may have been previously unheard or unheard in their true timbre. (Degree of sonic improvement will vary somewhat from one component/system to another.) For use with all CD, SACD, DVD discs and players.
