Cone/Spike Grounding Base:

Herbie's thick dBNeutralizer(tm) pad provides grounding for cone and spike vibration drainage. Works as a two-way vibration barrier also, preventing drained vibrations from permeating into the audio rack or floor and subsequently to other components, and vice-versa. Herbie's exclusive nickel-alloy discs provide the most sonically neutral result; brass and gold-plated options are available to match your present cones or spikes.

Small and medium-size grounding bases are ideal for small and medium-size audio components and loudspeakers. Large and extra-large bases are superb for heavier components, audio racks up to 450 pounds, heavy loudspeakers.

(Will not mar or discolor floors or cabinet finishes.)

"I tried several combinations, but the one that seems to work best is Black Diamond Racing #3 cones (points down), with the points resting on Herbie's Audio small Cone/Spike Grounding Bases. Very little vibration is transmitted through this arrangement."--Jerry Seigel, Colorado

"I wasted no time in trying the Cone/Spike Grounding Bases. They work! Even on carpet their effect is pronounced. Sorry if I seem surprised, especially after my success with the Tenderfeet, but I am a skeptic by nature and training. ;^)

"The improvements I notice from the Grounding Bases are as follows:

+ at first I thought the overall volume was lower, but in fact, resonance I previously did not know was there is now gone.

+ the lack of resonance cleans up everything, but benefits bass and midrange particularly

+ with respect to placement and presence, elements in the sound field are clearer.

"Thank you for another effective and useful solution. I have already begun referring friends to you."--Kyle Sims, Oakland, California
